Chances
are if you go to our show and see a sparkley pink or gold thing coming
towards you, it's probably me. I play Columbia most often these days,
but I'm probably best known as the pink Trannie, or "HeartBreaker,"
more specifically. I've been on cast since 2000-ish and if I've learned
one thing from my four or so years with Barely Legal it's that you can
never own enough sparkely pink things or shoes. |

| What do you do on cast? | |
| I mostly dance around and make an ass of myself. When I'm not doing that, I'm playing Columbia or Trannying. I held the Head of Trannies position for a few years and, during which, trained roughly 20 Trannies (many of which have been absolutely awesome and of which I couldn't be more proud). I've played Rocky for Tacky Horror, and I even tried my hand at Trixie. I have also performed in hoards and hoards of pre-show performances as one of Barely Legal's own Crowd Pleasers. I've been everything from Sandy (from Grease) to Christina Aguilera (from Moulin Rouge) to Roxie Hart (from Chicago). I'm also one of the cast's unofficial artists. Melissa Fun Fact for the Day: I also put together this here website and painted the newest coffin that Barely Legal uses weekly. So I guess you can say I've been involved in quite a range of areas of the show. | |
| What made you want to join Barely Legal? | |
| It's all part of my plan for eventual world domination. | |
| What appeals to you about Rocky Horror? | |
| I love the idea of a place you can go every Saturday night dressed however the hell you want to dress, in as little or much as you want to wear, and dance and sing, and throw things. I mean, come on! They tend to frown on that at Denny's. | |
| What is your favorite Rocky Horror related moment? | |
| Oh Lordy. It's a toss-up between the Pride Parades, float building, Trannie rehearsals, the parties, me & Shauna's cool-ass dance, the Moulin Rouge Preshow, the roadshows, "shakin my ass to that," the Parkway events, the parties...and um, did I mention the parties? | |
| What do you do when you're not at Rocky Horror? | |
| His name is... Oh wait, you said "what," not "who." I'm a graphic designer and illustrator. Yep, that's pretty much it. | |
| Aside from Rocky, what is your favorite obsession? | |
I'm
going to go with shoes. Definately shoes. as HeartBreaker
