(From the 7 Deadly Sins website)
Ladies and gentlemen, freaks and geeks, weirdos of all ages- Sins O the Flesh is proud to be hosting the official 35th Anniversary Convention of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, AND YOU'RE ALL INVITED! We could not think of a better way to make our con-throwing debut than an occasion as momentous as this! We understand that the 35th is a great milestone in this ground-breaking fandom of ours and that's why we're pulling out all the stops for this non-stop, action-packed 3-day celebration of all that is Rocky Horror and its incredible following. We will be taking over some of Downtown LA's most unique, historic, and impressive sites to throw the greatest party of all time! Rocky Horror would not be what it is today without the fans, and neither will this convention. That's where YOU come in! We want everyone from all parts of the world to get involved with this. Don't just come, REPRESENT!. We want this to be a celebration of all of you, our friends and family. There will be many opportunities in the coming months for you to help shape this convention and make it the epic event we want it to be. There will be all new events never experienced at a con before. There will be long-time traditions honored. There will be awards, prizes, special guests. For both the 35 year vets and the fresh-meat of 2010 this will be ONE HELL OF A PARTY because it's Los Angeles and that's how we roll.
Our hotel will be the lovely Standard in Downtown LA. For more info on the hotel and booking information, please read the Hotel post.
We have such grand plans! But they are not all inked and it would be unprofessional of us to announce things that are not in contract, so please be patient on the guests and venues. We're hard at work on these things and will give you a plethora of information as soon as it's kosher. Full video tours of the venues will be available once we've got them nailed down.
We're trying to keep the Con as affordable as possible while still bringing you the best of everything. As you can imagine, it's always better for everyone if you sign up early! So to promote that, we settled on the following payment plan:
$75 until July 1st.
$85 from July 1st to Sept. 1st.
$95 after Sept. 1st.
Single-Day Con tickets are priced at $50.
